Final Trumpet ~ Mike Wimmer

My Rainbow In The Sky

You left this world unexpectedly
I asked God, "How could this be?"
The answers I so desperately seek
To this day remains unknown to me.

I cannot begin to count the tears
That fall down upon my face,
Not knowing how or even why
Makes it hard for me to say good-bye.

No prouder could a Mother be
To be blessed with a son like you,
Even though with me you are not here
You will never be far from my view.

The day you left it broke my heart
Each day that now passes by
I long to have you by my side;
Forever you'll be my rainbow in the sky.

Your days here on earth
Forever will be a treasured gift,
One that gives my spirit such a lift
With each cloud that slowly drifts.

I may never truly understand
Why your life came to an end;
Maybe it was in God's plan
So your life with Him you could spend.

Nothing in this world will ever replace
The twenty-six years with you I had,
Memories my heart forever will embrace
To help dry my tears when I am sad.

I know your life you weren't ready to leave,
There was so much in life you wanted to achieve;
Until I find closure my heart will continue to grieve,
My precious son, in you I will always believe.

In Memory of my Son

Nils Carsten Jacobsen
18.12.1974 ~~ 26.1.2001

Nils, when you were born
Your little face was shining as the sun,
A miracle been born into my life
The most beautiful day …
My son and Our world.

I told the Holy Mary of this wonder
She followed you through life -
Just as you accompanied me, my son;
A boy with black eyes of thousand miracles
With stars and sunshine, night and day.

Your smile, it melted people’s hearts,
Your love carried me and those dear to you –
Each day your eyes and smile did tell me:
I love you; trust you, I believe in you
Mom, Beb, my Mate.

I will always take care of you -
And Eva, my little sister.
You kept your promise, Nils, my boy,
You were, are and will be star,
My star, my light ahead to follow life to come.

They brought you home.
You were lying in that coffin, Nils – Quite,
A tiny smile to tell me not to worry,
Your huge Black eyes were closed, silent –
Asleep, to never wake up – Here, anymore!

There was your voice: I am always with you Mom,
One day I will hug you as I always did
Then it will be Home.
Till then..
I’ll keep on shining as I did before –

I’ll shine forever more…
With Mother Mary on my side,
She will take good care of me
Till that day will come, and you will take me over – Again!

Love You Son – Your Mama
