~~ Somewhere Over the Broken Rainbow ~~
We had a love ever so deep and strong
We made it right when all the world was wrong
But now it seems like we’re walkin’
On different sides of the track
Running around in circles
Trying to find our way back.
In this time of separation
I’m getting down to desperation
Searching for answers and hoping to find a clue
But I don’t know if I can find a reason
An explanation for your leaving
I’m racing a clock and it’s a race I just can’t win
I’m praying somewhere over the broken rainbow
I will find you again.
We had a life filled with small details
We kept up the fight when it seemed that all else failed
But the distance between us has torn us apart
And it’s probably beyond repair
So now we’re walking this road alone
Seeing just how we will fare.
I don’t know what it will take
To stop our hearts from trying to break
And keep us from making the same mistakes
But.. I do know…
In this time of great desertion
I hope you can see how I am hurtin’.
You’re on my mind in everything I do
And I don’t know if you can comprehend this
See if you can find forgiveness
To keep this love from coming to an end
I’m praying somewhere over the broken rainbow
I will find you again.
Yes, somewhere over our broken rainbow
I will find you………. Again.
Happy Valentine's Day Sweetheart!
