CHRISTMAS LIGHTS
Glimmering on window panes,
Sparkling Christmas lights,
Shimmering mirrored images,
Delightful Christmas sights.
Framing frosted windows,
Stars of multicolored hues,
A center light of pure white,
No other hue would do.
Peeking through each window,
Perhaps a lighted tree,
With an angel at its top,
Well lit for all to see.
Winking, blinking, twinkling lights,
Making travelers smile,
Rekindling warm memories,
Oh, how the lights beguile.
Fascinating, captivating,
Beacons in the night,
Guiding wanderers back home,
Lovely Christmas lights.
